Syndese values the protection of its users' data and aims to collect only the information necessary for the platform to operate.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use Syndese, we may process: your email address, information provided on your account, professional information published by suppliers, contact details (in particular WhatsApp), stock photos submitted for verification, and certain technical information required for site security.
How we use your data
This information is mainly used to: create and manage accounts, let suppliers present their business, facilitate introductions between suppliers and resellers, verify supplier profiles, keep Syndese secure, and handle support requests. Syndese does not sell users' personal data.
Verification photos
A stock photo may be requested during supplier validation. This photo is used solely for verification purposes and is deleted when no longer needed.
Meta advertising measurement cookie
Only with your consent, Syndese uses a Meta cookie to measure advertising effectiveness. Your choice is stored for six months and can be changed at any time through “Manage cookies” in the footer. If you refuse, no data is sent to the Meta Pixel or Meta Conversions API.
Free plan abuse prevention
To prevent abuse of the free plan, a pseudonymised (hashed) form of the IP address is used to count daily free usage. It is not linked to any marketing and is deleted after 48 hours.
Retention and deletion
Data required to operate an account is kept as long as the account remains active. When a user deletes their account, information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to any legal obligations.
